Mold, or any kind of microbial growth, is impressive. Even a little extra moisture, like the condensation on a shower door, or the high humidity we’ve all suffered through in places that lacked air-conditioning, can provide a good environment for mold if it (the moisture) sticks around long enough. “Long enough” is 24 to 48 hours.
