This week’s trivia is impressive history.

Marie Van Brittan Brown was a nurse and inventor. She and her husband both worked long hours, and worried about their home. Brown and her husband Albert, an electronics tech, developed the first home security system using cameras, microphones, and television monitors. They earned a patent in 1969 for what is now called CCTV.
