Basement Disaster in the Gold Coast

There is nothing worse than going down to the basement to put the laundry in the dryer and stepping onto a wet floor with socks on! Yuk! Evidently, my washing machine decided to malfunction, and water flooded the entire basement before I discovered the problem. Besides the water damage covering the floor, I had a lot of soggy cardboard boxes stacked along the wall now too.

They asked me a series of questions and sent out a team of water restoration technicians to my Gold Coast home even though it was the middle of the night. They assessed the situation, and the technicians got to work immediately and disconnected the water hose, repacked and removed the soggy boxes from the room, and quickly extracted all the water from the floor. Then they set up air movers and dehumidifiers to remove the excess moisture from the air. The next day and cleaned and deodorized the area. When they were done, the basement looked like it did before the flooding disaster!
